This page displays information about relatively narrow group of localities with natural forests. It is represented by 22 repeatedly surveyed localities out of 512 localities which were evaluated as natural forests (see Databank). Our long-term research focuses on the dynamics of the woody layer development by studying life cycle of individual trees; other topics are development of herb layer and soil conditions.
Researched localities include also sites Bílá Opava (1,23 ha), Diana (197,78 ha), Jiřina (1,82 ha) and V Klučí (1,50 ha) were excluded from the Databank since they do not fulfil its criteria.
